Founded in 1990 by Mr. Eduardo Gutierrez and operating as The Student Alternatives Program, we rebranded in 2019 to Triumph Public High Schools. We specialize in serving high school students who are placed at-risk in completing their high school education. Responsibilities: The Principal is responsible for setting a powerful vision for student achievement and motivating both their staff and students to follow that vision through effective planning and leadership. The Principal is responsible for managing and overseeing all functions of the campus including, but not limited to: all aspects of instructional program, school environment and safety, and operational and fiscal health of the school. The Principal will also be responsible for effective leadership and management of all school stakeholders, including students, faculty, families and the community. This is a hands on position that will require a unique individual who can see big picture, but is still able and willing to roll up their sleeves and get to work. This position may require some occasional work on Saturday’s, over the summer and some travel within the state of Texas.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Education or related field from an accredited four-year college or university required. Masters Degree is strongly preferred
- Standard Principal Certificate or higher issued by the Texas State Board of Education is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience required, preferably with at risk, special education or ESL student population
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory/management position required.
- At least 3 years teaching in private or public classroom with 9-12 grade level is preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
- Ability to read, write and understand English required
- Required to pass a pre-employment fingerprinting as part of the background check
- Required to submit original college transcripts, service records and credentials within first 30 days of employment

Pay Range Based on Education, Experience Certifications and/or Credentials:
$75,000 to $85,000 per year
*Annually salary is calculated at a prorated rate from effective date of hire
