Responsibilities: The Instructional Coach works with campus leadership and teachers maintain the overall instructional program of the campus. They ensure the effective operation of the curriculum and instruction component which includes curriculum, instruction, assessment, student performance, and teacher development responsibilities. The Instructional Coach serves as a mentor and role model for teachers by coaching them in their teaching responsibilities and providing timely and relevant feedback to directly impact student outcomes.

 

Qualifications: 

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited four-year college or university. Master’s degree or higher preferred
• Major in a core academic area and/or secondary education preferred
• At least three years classroom teaching experience in a public or private school required
• Experience teaching at the secondary level and/or at risk student population highly preferred
• Direct experience in the area of curriculum and instruction highly preferred
• Knowledge and experience using Eduphoria highly preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
• Ability to read, write and understand English required
• Required to pass a pre-employment fingerprinting as part of the background check
• Required to submit original college transcripts, service records (if applicable) and credentials (if applicable) within first 30 days of employment

Pay Range Based on Education, Experience, Certifications and/or Credentials:

$65,000 to $71,000 per year

*Annually salary is calculated at a prorated rate from effective date of hire
